Frequently Asked Questions

ClearDispute is a tool that helps you organize your dispute evidence into a professional, structured packet. It uses AI to analyze your case details and evidence, then generates a formatted PDF that you can submit to your bank, PayPal, or marketplace.

No. ClearDispute is a document organization tool, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. For legal questions, please consult a licensed attorney.

We cannot guarantee any outcome. Dispute decisions are made by banks, payment processors, and platforms based on their own policies. A well-organized evidence packet can help present your case clearly, but the final decision is not within our control.

We support common consumer disputes including:
  • Credit card chargebacks (non-delivery, not as described, billing issues, unauthorized charges)
  • PayPal disputes (item not received, significantly not as described)
  • Marketplace claims (Amazon A-to-Z, Airbnb, Uber)
  • General service disputes (contractors, ISPs, gyms, utilities)
We do not support insurance claims, medical billing disputes, crypto recovery, or cases requiring law enforcement.

We have a resubmission mode! If your dispute was rejected, select that option in the wizard and paste the rejection message. We'll create a packet that explicitly addresses the rejection and highlights any new or clarified evidence.

Most users complete the entire process in under 10 minutes:
  • Wizard questions: ~5 minutes
  • Upload evidence: ~2-3 minutes
  • AI processing: ~1-2 minutes
  • Review and download: ~1 minute

Your uploaded evidence files and generated packets are automatically deleted after 30 days. We use encrypted storage and do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to process your request (e.g., AI processing, payment processing). See our Privacy Policy for details.

Yes! Your payment includes 30-day access to regenerate your packet. You can add or remove evidence, update your answers, and generate a new PDF at no additional cost during this period.

No. We provide the evidence packet; you submit it yourself through the appropriate channel (your bank's website, PayPal resolution center, etc.). We include a submission checklist to guide you through the process.
